Students were given the opportunity to take part in our first Urban Festival on Tuesday 8th December, senior students during the day and all years after school.

On Tuesday 16th June the House Music trophy was held. Fifteen students performed individually and in group in six sections, with the winners of each section performing in a final concert for the overall prize. Abbie Hedger was the overall winner, with Michael Brown coming second overall.
Adler won the trophy on points, defeating their closest rival by 100 points.

Congratulations to all acts who took part in the variety show. It was a really brilliant day and the standard of all entries just keeps getting better and better. All of the audiences throughout the day had a great time, well done!
For the first time ever the winning act came from Upper School. Oliver Smith won the variety show for Adler House with his amazing, ' I’m going slightly mad' inspired by his recent appearance in “We Will Rock You”. All those who saw this were entertained; it even won Ollie a marriage proposal!!

On Thursday 25th September X Factor mania once again came to the Sir John Colfox School. Following the audition process within tutor group 53 students made it through to the live finals day. The standard of all of the 53 students who took part was really tremendous as throughout the day as separate Year group competitions took place to decide who would compete in the grand final at the end of the day. The audience was treated to a mixture of solos, duets, trios and some larger group performances as all those taking part gave their all to win the coveted title.
