We aim to provide a curriculum that prepares students for the 21^st century and recognise the importance that modern foreign languages has for today's society, both at work and for leisure.  All students at our school study at least one language at both key stages three and four, with many learning a second.

As well as our focus on language learning we strive to provide students with opportunities to find out more about other countries, languages and cultures through curricular and extra curricular activities.

Our school works with many outside groups such as the Regional Languages Network, CILT and Bath Spa University to provide training and learning resources for local schools, both primary and secondary. We also provide language classes for the local community.
