Students from Y7, 8 and 9 competed in our houses, Toro, Hinomaru, Fleur De Lys and Adler. A big thank you to our Year 8 Drama Ambassadors for supporting the house teams and showcasing some fantastic work.

This year we used puppet makers Gyre and Gimble as inspiration for creating our own puppets and a piece of devised theatre. After making the puppets, we then workshopped bringing the puppet to life focusing on the three principles: breath, focus and weight. Students worked in house teams, and it was great to see pupils from different year groups working so creatively together. Teams were awarded points for showing skills in a range of areas, including storytelling, movement and teamwork. Thank you to Ms Kym Langdon, Drama Teacher, pictured above for organising a great day.
