On Friday 14th November the Sir John Colfox Anti-Bullying Ambassadors held its first primary school anti-bullying training session, 4 local primary schools attended, Thorners, Burton Bradstock, St Mary’s and Powerstock. The Ambassadors told the students about how they have developed since their initial training a year ago and some of the activities they have been involved with. The training including understanding what bullying is, how to help students who are feeling lonely or unhappy. They also learn about cyber bullying and discussed Mushi Monsters and were introduced to the woodland characters of ‘Woodfer’. The students left armed with resources and drop-in boxes.
Next week the Sir John Colfox Students are attending and holding workshops at the County Anti-Bullying week conference.
